Évasion Canine introduces visitors to the world of sled dogs through activities suited to the landscape around Fontainebleau. These include riding in a kart driven by a musher, learning to drive, canihiking and canicross. Meeting the pack lies at the heart of the experience.

On an introductory kart ride, the musher drives. A driving lesson asks you to take a more active role. Canihiking links walker and dog with purpose-made equipment, while canicross involves running. Ask how much effort each option requires and what ages and fitness levels it suits.

Mention any fear of dogs, back problems or difficulty moving. The provider can tell you whether the activity is suitable or suggest a gentler way to meet the pack.
