A forest closure, a booking and a train time are handled by different people. Here is the shortest route to a reliable answer.
The Reserve and the Maison de la Biosphère
The Fontainebleau and Gâtinais Biosphere Reserve contact page is the best starting point for its work, network and the Maison de la Biosphère et de la Forêt. For a scheduled activity, use the contact on the event page because registration may be managed by a different partner.
Access or a problem in the forest
Start with the ONF map of accessible areas. It will usually answer “is this path open today?” faster than a message.
To report a hazard, damaged barrier or dangerous tree, note the name of the crossroads, the forest parcel number if shown and your coordinates. For immediate danger or an accident, call the emergency services on 112. Do not rely on a form or social media message in an emergency.
An activity or accommodation
